The design, inspired by Bauhaus principles, emphasizes the building's connection to Rothschild Boulevard’s existing fabric. The concrete structure features a modular, rectilinear form with a glazed façade, covered by an aluminum louvered screen described as a 'veil.' This screen, inspired by traditional Middle Eastern clothing, adds a graceful layer of protection to the apartments. Key design considerations include the quality of light, views of the city and sea, and the efficient organization of “served” and “service” spaces around the core. “I hope that by inviting the city’s timeless light and views into an open layout, we create a fresh perspective that harmonizes with the existing surroundings,” says Meier.
